Swinburne University of Technology The University's Centre for New Manufacturing is able to produce colour parts for industry using a Z Corporation 406 3D Colour printer. In addition, the Centre offers laser cutting, 5-axis machining, wire-cutting and precision-turning capabilities.

Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA/CCM) (Brazil) The Competence Center in Manufacturing (CCM) is the product development and manufacturing center at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA). CCM transfers the results of R&D directly into practice in client companies. It focuses applied research as well as technology transfer considering the complete product development cycle. The RP&M equipment used are an FDM Titan and a Dimension BST. CCM also has 5-axis milling capability, a 4-axis lathe center, industrial robots, CMM and indoor GPS, and complete licensing of NX and Tecnomatix-based CAD/CAE/CAM software. l

Pontific Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) (Brazil) The university is working in conjunction with the Brazilian Government agency, CenPRA, in the use of RP biomodels in TMJ surgery and other oral and maxillofacial surgery applications. (In Portugese.)

Technikon Free State (South Africa) University / Industry collaboration. Offers expertise to business using its own personnel and a network of industry contacts in the fields industrial design, CAD and RP. Offers stereolithography (SLA), selective laser sintering (SLS) and Solidscape technologies.

Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil) The CIMJECT project within the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering specializes in stereolithography and manufacturing processes such as injection molding. (In Portuguese.)

University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) The Global Competitiveness Centre in Engineering has recently been established to promote RP and related technologies.
