Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA/CCM) (Brazil) The Competence Center in Manufacturing (CCM) is the product development and manufacturing center at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA). CCM transfers the results of R&D directly into practice in client companies. It focuses applied research as well as technology transfer considering the complete product development cycle. The RP&M equipment used are an FDM Titan and a Dimension BST. CCM also has 5-axis milling capability, a 4-axis lathe center, industrial robots, CMM and indoor GPS, and complete licensing of NX and Tecnomatix-based CAD/CAE/CAM software. l
Pontific Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) (Brazil) The university is working in conjunction with the Brazilian Government agency, CenPRA, in the use of RP biomodels in TMJ surgery and other oral and maxillofacial surgery applications. (In Portugese.)
